Excuse my ignorance but what is bootcamp? what is HF and P3. I'm not familiar with these terms. Is everyone on here doing the Simeons hcg protocol?

There are folks doing all sorts of things... most are Dr S's protocol... but some of the terms are from Kevin T's book.

P3 is phase 3 or maintenance between rounds of hcg
HF or HFE is high fat experiment. It is a way of eating to loose weight that is above the 2 lb. last dose/injection weight.
Bootcamp is a group that keeps each other accountable during their maintenance phase.

snack a couple pieces of coco crack
lots of water, with cranberry concentrate diluted

calories 1994
fat 63%,protien 24 %, carbs 14%

You also are not supposed to do correction days in a row. You should do a correction and then eat P3 normal for a day then back to a correction day if you need to.

I made some Thanksgiving desserts yesterday. (I am the baker in the family!) and of course I tasted a couple things. Also TOM doesn't want to go away so not worried. Would be nice to be under LIW for the holiday but I have been really enjoying myself. And, within range - can't beat it!! I did make a new pumpkin pie-sugar free and a nut crust. Haven't tasted yet, but ...OMG looks great! It's made with sour cream, honey and molassas instead of sugar and evaporated milk. I will post the recipe...

What are you discouraged about? Really quite confused. What you did was not a protein day, it's full of carbs - almost 30 - 40 in the banana alone, and yet you maintained and you are only .4 above LDW? So where is the discouragement from? Eating close to 2000 calories while you are only 140 pounds AND MAINTAINING is nothing short of a miracle.

I am sorry if I missed something.

Yesterday was a HF Day:

Breakfast - Coffee with heavy cream and a Mock Danish
Lunch - Broccoli Slaw
Dinner - Salmon with creme fraiche (cultured heavy cream), horseradish and dill
Dessert - Cream Cheese Muffins with whipped heavy cream
Snacks - Coconut Bark

So, I got Biz's recommendation to avoid the "Crack" too late in the day yesterday. Apparently, if you remove that from the equation, I didn't get enough fat which may be why I didn't lose any weight. Today I will rework my meal plan to hit my numbers without the Coconut Bark.

Today is my first day on P3. So farI have had 2 servings of bacon egg and cheese casserole, sour cream, and cheese. I am running 75% fat, 20% protein, and 5% carbs. Is this good? I will definately love the HFE when I get to my goal of 135. I am really excited to see if I can maintain my weight on this much fat. I guess it worked when I was on Atkins, so it should now. I REALLY wish I had recipies for P3. I am going to die if I just have to stay eating just meat and cheese.

Today for breakfast I had 1 scrambled egg with cheese and 1-1/2 sausage links.

For lunch I had a green salad with a sliced avocado, tomato, red onion, 2 boiled eggs and homemade ranch dressing.

For snack I ate 5 skinny cow creamy cheese bites.

For dinner I had 1 low carb (3 grams) sugar free tortilla and filled it with sliced turkey, mayo, lettuce, avocado, tomato and chedar cheese slice, and on the side 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.

Am I allowed to have a diet soda on P3?

I forgot to add this part:

My daily amounts are suppose to be 1767 calories, 117g fat, 110g protein, 66g carbs

Today I got:

Totals: 1,499 cals, 99g fat, 772mg cholest, 2,655mg sodium, 69g carbs, 24g sugar, 16g fiber, 93g protein

This being my first day on P3, it was really, really hard to get this much food in! Hopefully I'm okay on the calories. It looks like the other numbers are close.

Hi Green, Welcome to P3. Why are you doing such a high percentage of fat? Did it just work out that way or were you aiming for that? Usually we aim for about 60% calories from fat, and about 23% protein and 17% carbs.

The HFE is being used for people on P3 who are 2 lbs. or more over their lowest dosage weight and having trouble getting back in range. I'm unaware that anyone is using HFE to maintain at goal.
